Tumi Bopape-Vanda has over 15 years’ experience within government and private corporations. Her experience in strategic and cross-functional skills allow her to provide unmatched value in any large-scale projects.
She has held strategic positions in public-private partnerships and economic trade engagements on local and regional (continent) projects.
Ms Bopape-Vanda has a good grasp of corporate governance, including navigating and managing complex business environments. Through her collaborative skills and understanding of South Africa’s development priorities, the country’s legislative prescripts and project management ecosystem, including her extensive experience in the MICE industry, she is able to bring a balanced approach to strategy and project deliverables.
Ms Bopape-Vanda holds a master’s degree in Arts, Culture & Heritage Management from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Stakeholder Management Certificate from the University of Pretoria.
Ms Bopape-Vanda’s experience has allowed her to consult on a wide range of development assignments, such as business diagnostic assessments, product development, project management and market access programmes, for various organisations in both the public and private sectors.
